‘Those who sing scare away their woes’

Singing is believed to be good for you in many ways. If the idea of scaring away your woes (as Cervantes nearly said) with a bunch of friendly people appeals to you why not come and join our Singing for Pleasure group?  We are very informal, and no, you don’t need to be able to ‘sing’, as some of us regularly prove!

We sing a variety of songs, ranging from those from about a century ago up to more modern pop and show tunes, with some Christmas music for variety at the end of the year.
Usually we just sing for our own amusement, but occasionally we do put on a show to benefit a worthy cause or to support our own U3A. If you would like to become one of our merry band please contact Diane Pannall or Ros Sealey
